Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for treating the hair or fibers, comprising an alkyl ketene compound. The composition according to the present invention comprises an alkyl ketene compound capable of covalently binding to a protein residue on the surface of the hair or fibers, and the alkyl ketene compound covalently binds to the hair or fibers, and thus can provide a beneficial effect such as long-lasting conditioning.
