Title:
METHOD FOR CALIBRATING EXTERNAL LIGHT FOR BIO-SIGNAL MEASUREMENT, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/261725
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A wearable electronic device comprises: a bio-signal detection unit including at least one light-receiving part and at least one light-emitting part; an external light calibration circuit; and a processor electrically connected to the bio-signal detection unit and the external light calibration circuit, wherein the processor can be configured to emit light at the skin of a user through the at least one light-emitting part, detect, from among a first period in which the light is emitted through the at least one light-emitting part and a second period in which the light is not emitted, an external light signal outputted through the at least one light-receiving part during the second period, and use the external light calibration circuit to remove the external light signal from a bio-signal corresponding to the light reflected from the skin of the user output through the at least one light-receiving part. Other embodiments are possible.
