Abstract:
Provided is a composition for treating water that has excellent storage stability as a liquid and high sterilization performance, a water treatment method in which the composition for treating water is used, a method for manufacturing the composition for treating water, and a cooling water system treatment method in which the composition for treating water is used. A composition for treating water contains at least one substance from among saccharin and salts thereof, hypochlorous acid and salts thereof, and a hydroxide of an alkali metal, and has a pH of 12.5 or above.
