Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a compound which has a high molar extinction coefficient at the maximum absorption wavelength (λmax) within the range of 600 nm to 750 nm, while exhibiting good stability before and after post-baking during the production of a color filter. The present invention relates to a compound that is represented by formula (I). (In formula (I), each of Z1 and Z2 independently represents a group represented by formula (i); R3 represents an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, an optionally substituted aromatic heterocyclic group, or a group in which an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group and an optionally substituted aromatic heterocyclic group are combined with each other; and -CH2- contained in the hydrocarbon group may be substituted by -O-, -CO-, -NR6-, -S-, -SO- or -SO2-.) (In formula (i), R7 represents a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group or a group represented by formula (ii); and a1 represents 0 or 1.)
