The purpose of the present invention is to reduce gases that flow through to the downstream-side of the denitrification catalyst without passing through the interior of the denitrification catalyst (so-called short path gas). This denitrification apparatus comprises: multiple support beams (52) extending in the Y-axis direction and disposed side-by-side in the X-axis direction at a prescribed spacing; denitrification packs (51) that are loaded on the multiple support beams (52) so as to span across the support beams (52) that are adjacent to each other in the X-axis direction and denitrify the gas passing through the interior thereof; first sealing members (53) extending in the X-axis direction and sealing the gap formed between a denitrification pack (51) and the member adjacent to the denitrification pack (51) in the Y-axis direction; and second sealing members (54) for sealing the gap formed between the ends of a first sealing member (53) in the X-axis direction and the support beams (52). On the edges of the lower surface of the denitrification packs (51) in the X-axis direction, packing (57) that is sandwiched between the lower surface and the upper surface of support beams (52) is installed.
