Abstract:
A plurality of computers (310-325) are grouped into groups of a prescribed number, and each implement a computation command for fixed-point data. Multiplexers (230-237) are positioned corresponding to each group, and acquire, in order, computation results from each computer (310-325) included in the corresponding group. Flag bit generation units (240-247) generate bit patterns that are obtained by setting flag bits at respective bit locations corresponding to a range from the least significant bit location of the computation results acquired by the multiplexers (230-237) to, among bit locations having bit values that are different from the most significant bit, the most significant bit location or the least significant bit location. Adders (AD0-AD39) acquire statistical information in which bit patterns generated by a bit pattern generation unit are accumulated for each digit corresponding to each bit location.
