Abstract:
In order to provide appropriate information in accordance with the conditions by using a system other than the system currently in use, a computer system has a client, a first computer that processes requests from the client, and a second computer that backs up data used in the processing of the requests, with the client, the first computer, and the second computer being connected via a network. The second computer has: a storage unit that stores, in a prescribed format, a portion of the data used in the processing of the requests by the first computer; and a transmission unit that, when switching information for executing a process of switching from the first computer to the second computer is detected, transmits to the client the portion of data that has been stored in the prescribed format.
