Abstract:
In order to achieve a conference system which reliably manages the connection state between a discussion unit and a control unit, and which is capable of continuously acquiring information from the discussion unit if connection problems occur, this conference system S is characterized by comprising a control unit 1 and a discussion unit 2, and in that operation packets are sent and received repeatedly between the two units; the operation packets contain a counter flag; the control unit is provided with a CU communication unit 11, a CU storage unit 13 and a CU control unit 16; and the discussion unit is provided with a DU control unit 26, the DU control unit increments the count value of the counter flag, and each time an operation packet is received from the discussion unit, the CU control unit compares the count value stored in the CU storage unit and the count value of the counter flag included in the operation packet received from the discussion unit.
