Abstract:

In order to achieve a conference system which automatically reconfigures priorities when change in the connection state between control units has been recognized, this conference system S is characterized by comprising multiple control units (CU) 1, and in that CU connection state confirmation packets are repeatedly sent and received between a master CU and a slave CU; a CU connection state confirmation packet includes a CU counter flag used to count the number of slave CUs; a master CU is provided with an MCU communication unit 11, an MCU storage unit 13, and an MCU control unit 16; a slave CU is provided with an SCU control unit 16, and the SCU control unit increments the count value of the CU counter flag; each time a CU connection state confirmation packet is received from a slave CU, the MCU control unit compares the count value stored in the MCU storage unit and the count value of the CU counter flag included in the CU connection state confirmation packet received from the slave CU.
