Abstract:
A method for extracting PDA from feces and measuring PDA, the use of a reagent used for measuring PDA in preparation of a test kit for diagnosing constipation, and a pharmaceutical composition used for treating constipation. By measuring the amount of PDA in feces, whether a subject suffers from, or is suspected of suffering from constipation, or has a risk of suffering from constipation is diagnosed, and by means of antibiotics and/or T4 bacteriophage, constipation is treated.
