Abstract:

A container connecting metal fixture comprising a metal fixture main body (2) having an upper fitting section (22) and a lower fitting section (23) fittable in locking holes in corner metal fixtures for a container, a shaft (3) rotatably journaled in the metal fixture main body (2), an upper metal fixture (4) and a lower metal fixture (5) integrally connected to the upper and lower ends of the shaft (3), respectively, and lockable in locking holes in corner metal fixtures for the container, and an operating member (7) for rotating the shaft. The metal fixture main body (2) is provided with a turning mechanism (6) for turning the shaft (3) by a load acting on the container, and the shaft (3) is provided with a spring means (34) urging the upper metal fixture (4) to turn to a position where it overlaps the upper fitting section (22). The upper metal fixture (4) is formed with a notch (4x) at a corner on the lower surface side at a diagonal position on the side of the container where the corner metal fixture engages an engaging hole.
