A container for a refrigeration machine is provided with: a storage compartment (30) for storing an object to be stored; a housing compartment (32) configured so that the housing compartment (32) returns storage compartment air within the storage compartment to the storage compartment after causing the storage compartment air to pass through an evaporator (14); a first ventilation duct (3) connecting to the housing compartment and having a first air blowing fan (5) and a first heat storage body (1); a second ventilation duct (4) connecting to the housing compartment and having a second air blowing fan (6) and a second heat storage body (2); and a control unit (10) for controlling the first air blowing fan and the second air blowing fan. The control unit (10) controls the first air blowing fan (5) and the second air blowing fan (6) so that the following steps are performed alternately at predetermined time intervals (Tn): a step in which the first ventilation duct (3) causes outside air to flow in and the second ventilation duct (4) causes the storage compartment air to flow out; and a step in which the second ventilation duct (4) causes outside air to flow in and the first ventilation duct (3) causes the storage compartment air to flow out.
