Abstract:
The present invention provides a container that is characterized in comprising a material principally containing a corrosion-resistant steel having a carbon content of 0.03% or less, the container being impact- and pressure-resistant, capable of storing and transporting a liquid crystal material in a state of having high resistivity and voltage retention and of maintaining this state for a long period of time, and the container imparting long-term quality stability in the liquid crystal material. Also provided is a storage or transportation method using the container. The present invention can be utilized for storing and transporting a liquid crystal material used to produce a TFT-driven liquid crystal display element.
