It is possible to increase the container transportation efficiency and reduce the transportation cost. When performing adjustment/management of container transportation of the same ship company, information indicating a due date of van departure, specification of a container to be used, the number of containers to be used, and ship company to be used according to an import document of the location A is registered in a location A database (30) while information indicating a due date of vanning, specification of a container to be used, the number of containers to be used, and ship company to be used according to an export document of the location B is registered in a location B database (40). When the container arrival date is decided, according to the information in the location A database (30) and the location B database (40), a container of the same ship company which can be shared by the location A and the location B is identified and adjustment/management of the container transportation is performed. The adjustment/management result is arranged so that it can be accessed by terminals (50 to 70) arranged in the container yard in the port, at the location A, and the location B.
