Abstract:
An oil/fat-containing composition for suppressing the development of cancer, the composition comprising a solution produced by contacting a hydrophobic glycyrrhiza extract which has been produced by contacting glycyrrhiza with an alcohol, with an oil/fat. An oil/fat-containing composition for the prevention or treatment of cancer which can act through oral administration and is safe even taken on a day-to-day basis; and a pharmaceutical or food comprising the oil/fat-containing composition can be provided.
