Abstract:
The present invention relates to a content delivery control device which commonizes conditions relating to transcoding when delivering content with different CDNs, and enables supporting a standard upload interface; the invention also relates to a content delivery control method, a program, and a content delivery system. In the case that definition information is stored in a metadata file, transcoding of an original segment is controlled on the basis of the definition information. Meanwhile, if access information for accessing the definition information is stored in a metadata file, the definition information is requested on the basis of that access information, and transcoding of the original segment is controlled on the basis of the definition information received in response to the request. This can be applied to content delivery systems that deliver content using MPEG-DASH.
