Abstract:
A content distribution device is provided with a specification means which specifies the position of reproduction in a reproduction device and a detection means which detects switching to special reproduction which reduces a reproduction period to be shorter than that in normal reproduction.
When the detection means detects the special reproduction, if the position of the reproduction specified by the specification means is a midpoint (15:30) of a CM the special reproduction of which is prohibited, streaming distribution is restarted from the beginning (15:00) of the CM prior to the midpoint (15:30).
