Abstract:
Disclosed is a content output system which efficiently retrieves of useful contents from among a large quantity of contents stored in a server device etc. on a network and use of the retrieved contents.
Specifically disclosed is a content output system wherein informational communication is performed between a terminal device (101) and the server device (201) via the network. When a content stored in a first content storage unit (104) of the terminal device (101) is outputted, other contents related to the content are retrieved from among contents stored in a second content storage unit (205) of the server device (201) and the retrieved contents are outputted together on the side of the terminal device (101). Thus, user's operations for browsing a large amount of contents stored in the second content storage unit (205) of the server device (201) and selecting contents can be eliminated.
