Abstract:
Disclosed is a system wherein it is possible to establish affiliate sales by automatically identifying who the distributor is and who the receiver is even when contents are distributed off-line. Specifically disclosed is a system containing a content delivery system and an affiliate sales system, and provided with a means for generating, in relation to a given content and as the content to be delivered, content added with a first viewing right control for controlling the viewing of a sample and a second viewing right control for controlling the viewing of the entire content after a purchase is made. A user terminal is provided with a first control means for controlling the viewing of the sample in accordance with the first viewing right control and a second control means for controlling the viewing of the entire content once a purchase is made in accordance with the second viewing right control, and for embedding a license ID into the content. An affiliate sales system is provided with a means for determining the person to whom the affiliate compensation should be paid on the basis of the license information containing the license ID received from the second control means.
