Abstract:
Provided is a content sharing system which enables shared content to be enhanced in accordance with the free will of the user, by belonging to a plurality of groups. A group database (118) stores identification information for one or more groups to which each user belongs, in association with identification information of each user. A downloaded file database (119) stores the download history of content of each user via the user terminals (12A, 12B, 12C), in association with user identification information. A group identification unit (112) identifies to group to which a user currently accessing via a user terminal belongs. The downloaded file identification unit (113) identifies, based on the download history, whether there is content that has been already been subjected to a primary download by another user belonging to the group identified by the group identification unit (112). If there is content which has been subjected to a primary download by another user, then the secondary download of said content to the user terminal currently being accessed is authorized.
