Abstract:
Disclosed is a continuous production method for 1,4-cyclohexanedione. The continuous production method comprises the steps of: step 1, adding dimethyl succinyl succinate (DMSS), water and a catalyst to a reaction kettle in proportion by metering, to obtain a mixed solution; step 2, carrying out a hydrolysis reaction on the mixed solution, obtained in step 1, at a preset temperature for a preset period of time, subsequently heating same to reflux, and opening a drain port at the bottom of the reaction kettle such that a hydrolysate flows out of the reaction kettle; step 3, extracting the hydrolysate obtained in step 2, to respectively obtain an organic layer and an aqueous layer; step 4, distilling the organic layer obtained in step 3, to obtain a crude product of 1,4-cyclohexanedione; and step 5, returning the aqueous layer obtained in step 3 to the reaction kettle, adding DMSS and water thereto, and repeating step 2 to step 5. By means of the continuous production process for 1,4-cyclohexanedione of the present invention, the problem in the prior art of a low production efficiency of producing 1,4-cyclohexanedione from DMSS as a raw material is solved.
