Abstract:
The inventive continuously variable friction gear transmission comprises a housing and a variator, which is inserted therein and which is mounted in a power frame. In order to provide this variator in the form of an operationally capable autarchic unit to be tested beforehand, the support pistons for the journals are integrated inside the retaining frame.
