Abstract:
A contrast ratio adjustment method and device. The method comprises: obtaining a grayscale image corresponding to a current image (S1); segmenting the grayscale image to obtain multiple segmented regions (S2); calculating a JND value corresponding to each of the segmented regions on the basis of the area of the segmented region (S3); calculating a target contrast ratio on the basis of the JND value of each of the segmented regions and the background luminance of the current image (S4); and adjusting the contrast ratio of the current image on the basis of the target contrast ratio and a preset condition (S5).
