Abstract:
A control device for a continuously variable transmission equipped with an auxiliary transmission mechanism, wherein the continuously variable transmission (4), which is mounted in a vehicle, is equipped with a variator (20), an auxiliary transmission mechanism (30), and a coordinated control means. The coordinated control means (Figure 5) has an inertia phase time setting control means (S3, S7 in Figure 5), which sets a coordinated shifting inertia phase time for the entire transmission, and a rotation decrease response inertia phase time that is shorter than the coordinated shifting inertia phase time. When it is determined that stepping-upshifting, in which the torque input to the transmission (4) is equal to or less than a prescribed value, is occurring, the coordinated control means (Figure 5) downshifts the variator (20) with the rotation decrease response inertia phase time, while upshifting the auxiliary transmission mechanism with the coordinated shifting inertia phase time.
