Abstract:
A NOx storage-reduction catalyst (21) is provided in an exhaust passage of an internal-combustion engine (10) and purifies NOx in exhaust. Ozone supply devices (32, 33) supply ozone to an upstream side of the catalyst, in the exhaust passage. A NOx sensor (24) is provided at a downstream side of the catalyst and detects the NOx quantity in the exhaust. An ECU (40) is provided with: a NOx-quantity acquisition unit that acquires a detected NOx quantity detected by the NOx sensor in a state in which the internal-combustion engine is in an operating state, and ozone is supplied by the ozone supply devices; and a control unit that performs at least one of control of an ozone quantity supplied by the ozone supply devices and diagnosis of malfunction of the ozone supply devices, on the basis of the detected NOx quantity acquired by the NOx-quantity acquisition unit.
