Abstract:
In order to start up an internal-combustion engine promptly and reliably while preventing deterioration in drivability in a case where there is a request to start up the internal-combustion engine at the time of the occurrence of downshifting during regenerative braking, this control device (100) for a hybrid vehicle is provided with: a first replacement control means that replaces the regenerative braking torque of a rotary electric device with the engagement torque of a clutch if the possibility of starting up the internal-combustion engine is high when there is a request to shift the state of connection between the rotary electric device and a transmission mechanism during regenerative braking by the regenerative braking torque of the rotary electric device; and a second replacement control means that replaces the regenerative braking torque with friction braking torque provided from a braking device if the possibility of starting up the internal-combustion engine is small when there is said shift request.
