Abstract:
Parameters for control are appropriately changed while a moving operation part is prevented from skidding in a shift from a loaded state to an unloaded state and in a shift from the unloaded state to the loaded state of an inverted pendulum vehicle. The amount of manipulation for control of a moving operation part (5) is determined using adjustment parameters (Ki_x, Ki_y (i=1, 2, 3) and θb_x_obj, θb_y_obj) the values of which change according to whether an inverted pendulum vehicle (1) is in a loaded state of being loaded with an object to be carried on a loading part (3) thereof or in an unloaded state of not being loaded with the object to be carried. The adjustment parameters are changed at a higher rate of change in the shift from the loaded state to the unloaded state than in the shift from the unloaded state to the loaded state.
