Abstract:
Disclosed is an inverted pendulum-type vehicle controller that allows fluctuations in the movement velocity of the vehicle to be appropriately controlled in response to the actuation state of the vehicle. A movement actuating portion control means (50) of an inverted pendulum-type vehicle (1) includes a first processing mode and a second processing mode. In the first processing mode, a control operation amount is determined in such a way that the tilt angle of a riding portion (3) and the movement velocity at a representative point of the vehicle (1) approach target values. In the second processing mode, the control operation amount is determined by the movement actuating portion control means (50) while it is ensured that the sensitivity of the changes in the control operation amount with respect to the measured value of the movement velocity at the representative point of the vehicle (1) is less than in the first processing mode.
