Abstract:
Provided are a control device and control method for a solid-state electronic imaging device, which can change the exposure amount of photoelectric conversion elements without changing the structure of the imaging device. Synchronized with a synchronization signal (HD), a reset pulse and readout pulse are applied to the photoelectric conversion elements included in the imaging device. Up to photoelectric conversion elements in a prescribed row, the output interval of the synchronization signal (HD) is (ΔH1) and constant. Thereafter, the output interval of the synchronization signal (HD) becomes (ΔH2), which is longer than (ΔH1). Since the reset pulse and the readout pulse are synchronized with the synchronization signal (HD), the output interval of the synchronization signal (HD) becomes longer. Thus it is possible to adjust the exposure amount of the photoelectric conversion elements.
