Abstract:
This control device (80) is provided to a mobile body that has a motor (31) and a battery (33) and that is capable of obtaining braking force by regenerative drive of the motor and by actuation of braking devices (41, 42, 43, 44). The control device comprises: an abnormality detection unit (61) which detects abnormality in the braking devices; and a motor control unit (60) which controls the motor. When the regenerative torque generated by regenerative drive of the motor during normal operation of the braking devices is defined as normal regenerative torque, if an abnormality of the braking devices is detected by the abnormality detection unit, the motor control unit regeneratively drives the motor so as to cause an emergency regenerative torque greater than the normal regenerative torque to be generated for a duration starting with the time of detecting the abnormality until a prescribed grace period has elapsed, irrespective of the charging condition of the battery.
