Abstract:
When the speed of a focusing lens is controlled with speed control, the movement of the focusing lens may be unstable due to the changes in the operating environment of a photographing device and other reasons. The present invention provides a control device for controlling a photographing device having a lens and a motor for driving the lens, comprising: a first obtaining portion configured to obtain posture information representing the posture of the photographing device; a determining portion configured to determine a first current value based on the posture information; and a control portion configured to execute speed control, and control the current provided to the motor based on a difference between a value representing the lens speed and a target value representing a target lens speed, so that the lens speed reaches the target speed. The control portion can also execute speed control so as to provide the current of the first current value to the motor when the speed control is started.
