Abstract:
A control device according to the present invention comprises: a reference unit that sets a reference current that serves as a reference for determining a target current to be supplied to a damping force control valve; a correction unit that sets a correction current for correcting the reference current; and a target setting unit that sets the target current. The correction unit sets a reference correction current, which serves as a reference for determining the correction current, to 0 when the rate of change of the stroke length is in an extremely low speed band, to a predetermined constant value when said rate of change is in a mid/high speed band or higher, and to at least 0 and no more than the constant value when said rate of change is in a low speed band.
