Abstract:
A control device according to the present invention is provided with a detection unit, a selection unit, and an execution unit in order to provide a technology that makes it easy to operate a to-be-operated device via operation equipment, even if the to-be-operated device is capable of executing complex actions, while preventing complication of the operation of the operation equipment. The detection unit detects the state of hardness of a target work surface from a captured image, which includes the target work surface, by using data acquired by machine-learning the relationship between the captured image, in which has been captured the target work surface upon which the to-be-operated device applies force, and the state of hardness of the target work surface. A plurality of control modes are set, in accordance with differences in the state of hardness of the target work surface, as control modes for controlling the action of the to-be-operated device in response to a command output from the operation equipment operating the to-be-operated device. On the basis of the command output from the operating equipment and the state of hardness of the target work surface as detected by the detection unit, the selection unit selects a control mode to execute. The execution unit controls, by means of the selected control mode, the action of the to-be-operated device.
