Abstract:
The present invention provides a control device (10) for a vehicle in which a pair of electric motors (1) that drive left and right wheels (5) and a differential mechanism (3) that imparts a torque difference to the left and right wheels (5) are mounted, the control device comprising a calculation unit (11) and a control unit (12). The calculation unit (11) calculates a compensation torque (ΔT) for canceling out a turn-inhibiting yaw moment occurring due to a difference (ΔTIds) between a first inertia torque (T1) in a power transmission route leading from one electric motor (5) to the right wheel (5R) and a second inertia torque (T2) in a power transmission route leading from the other electric motor (5) to the left wheel (5L). The control unit (12) controls the operating state of the pair of electric motors (1) to impart the compensation torque (ΔT) to the vehicle. Turning responsiveness of the vehicle body in relation to steering is improved by such a configuration.
