Abstract:
A counting method comprising: an aggregation step (S110) for causing particles (15) in a sample (10) to aggregate by inducing a dielectrophoretic force of a first direction; a dispersion step (S120) for causing the aggregated particles (15) to disperse by inducing a dielectrophoretic force of a second direction that differs from the dielectrophoretic force of the first direction; an imaging step (S130) for capturing a dispersion image containing the dispersed particles (15); and a counting step (S140) for determining the number of particles (15) on the basis of the captured dispersion image.
