Abstract:
A control device of the present invention is for controlling a control target installed in a vehicle, and is provided with a detection unit (S110), a determination unit (S115), and a start control unit (S120, S125). The detection unit detects a state of the vehicle. The determination unit determines whether the state of the vehicle detected by the detection unit is a state suited for starting an engine. If it is determined by the determination unit that the vehicle is in a state suited for starting the engine, the start control unit starts the engine when starting the control target. If it is determined that the vehicle is in a state that is not suited for starting the engine, the start control unit does not start the engine when starting the control target.
