Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: an acquisition unit 221 for acquiring a gradient function indicating a relationship between the gradient of a route and a travel position; an optimization unit 222 for calculating a first control input value prescribing the engine torque, a second control input value prescribing a gear position, and a third control input value prescribing the operation state of an auxiliary brake so as to correspond to whether there is a change in the operation state of the auxiliary brake, the amount of change per unit time of the engine torque, and the deviation when the sum of an evaluation function that includes a first evaluation index pertaining to the deviation between the acceleration/deceleration of a vehicle 100 and a target acceleration/deceleration, a second evaluation index pertaining to the amount of change per unit time of the engine torque of the vehicle 100, and a third evaluation index pertaining to whether there is a change in the operation state of an auxiliary brake of the vehicle 100 is minimized; and a travel control unit 223 for controlling travel of the vehicle 100 on the basis of the calculated first control input value, second control input value, and third control input value.
