Abstract:
This control method comprises: acquiring from a terminal reservation information including a date/time of starting use of an electric vehicle that a first user wishes to use in the future (step S101); acquiring a state of charge of battery of the electric vehicle (step S102); determining whether the state of charge of battery of the electric vehicle at the point in time of the date/time of starting the use included in the acquired reservation information is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, using the acquired state of charge of battery (step S103); and transmitting notification information indicating a determination result to the terminal (step S104). For example, the determination includes calculating a state of charge of battery of the electric vehicle at the point in time of the date/time of starting the use that is due to the electric vehicle having been charged at a charge station, using predetermined charging characteristics inherent to the battery of the electric vehicle, and determining whether the calculated state of charge of battery of the electric vehicle is greater than or equal to the predetermined value.
