Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an I/O control method and an I/O control system that achieves both speeding up of I/O processing and data redundancy. [Solution] Provided is an I/O control method for performing control regarding an I/O request of a virtual computer that operates in a computer having an I/O device executing I/O processing, the method being provided with: a first step for determining, by an I/O analysis unit, whether or not it is possible to execute data redundancy processing regarding an I/O request on the basis of the I/O request of the virtual computer and setting information in which whether or not it is possible to execute data redundancy processing is identifiable; and a second step for transmitting, by a controller unit, an I/O command regarding the I/O request to a data redundancy mechanism for executing the data redundancy processing on the basis of a determination result in the first step.
