Abstract:
Provided is a mounting structure for intake components for introducing intake air to an internal combustion engine, the mounting structure being capable of preventing modification of the components with a simple configuration. Provided is a mounting structure for intake system components 100, 110 connected to an internal combustion engine 35 of a vehicle 10, wherein the intake system component 100 is provided with an opening 105, and the intake system component 110 has a flange portion 152 that is fitted to the opening 105. The outer peripheral edge of the opening 105 has a cross-sectional shape obtained by combining a circular arc 121a and a polygon 121b with a dimension larger than a diameter R of the circular arc 121a. The flange portion 152 has a cross-sectional shape that roughly matches the shape of the opening 105. When the intake system components 100, 110 are assembled and fixed, the flange portion 152 closes the opening 105.
