Abstract:
Provided is a control valve which is to be used in a variable displacement compressor, is capable of preventing foreign matter from accumulating in the gap between sliding surfaces which is formed between a main valve body and a guide hole, and as a result, is capable of making it less likely for operation failures such as valve locking or the main valve body leaving its position to occur. One or more guide hole-side grooves 19g, at least one end of which is open, are formed in a guide hole 19 into which a valve body 10 is slidably inserted. The guide hole-side grooves 19g are formed only on the Ps entrance/exit 27 side of the guide hole 19.
