Abstract:
The motor drive control device (1) according to an embodiment is provided with: a motor drive unit (10) which selectively energizes three-phase coils (Lu, Lv, Lw) of a motor (3); a motor control unit (20) which outputs a drive control signal to the motor drive unit (10) to thereby switch, in a predetermined order, energized phases of the coils (Lu, Lv, Lw) energized by means of the motor drive unit (10); a brake control unit (30) which outputs a brake control signal; an inter-phase short-circuit unit (40) which is connected between the coils (Lu, Lv) and short-circuits the coils (Lu, Lv) in accordance with a short-circuit signal; and a short-circuit signal output unit (50) which is connected between the coil (Lw) and the inter-phase short-circuit unit (40), and which, upon receiving the brake control signal, outputs the short-circuit signal to the inter-phase short-circuit unit (40).
