Abstract:
When abnormality is detected in other than the temperature of a battery (220)
for run (YES at S1100), a battery ECU (260) turns a system main relay (640) off to
make a transition to batteryless run and cools the battery (220) for run by using
a battery cooling fan (220D)(S1200-S1400). If the temperature of the battery
(220) for run is abnormal nevertheless (YES at S1600), a system off command signal
is delivered (S1700) to make a vehicle impossible to run. With such an arrangement,
retreat run of a hybrid vehicle and system interruption can be executed surely
even when abnormality occurs in the battery (220) for run.
