Title:
ANALOG/DIGITAL CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1983/003501
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An analog/digital converter is constructed to have first and second switches (21 : 26) alternately sampling first and second analog switches, respectively, first and second integrators (22 : 27) each obtaining an integrated voltage varying in response to the supplied sampled first and second analog signals, respectively, a constant-current source (32) supplying a constant current to the first integrator (22) when the first switch (21) is off and to the second integrator (27) when the second switch (26) is off, and a digital signal generator (34, 35) supplied alternately with an output comparing with a preset voltage the voltage output from the first or second integrator when the constant current is flowing therethrough, thereby obtaining a digital signal from the generator (34, 35) corresponding to the period of time from the instant at which the constant current is first supplied to the first or second integrator to the instant at which the voltage output from the first or second integrator reaches a preset value.
