Abstract:

Provided are a conveyance assisting apparatus, a conveyance device, and a package sorting device with which it is possible to achieve greater degree of freedom in the arrangement of a chute. A conveyance assisting apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a placement part, a base part, a supporting part, a transfer device, and a protruding part. The placement part has a placement surface on which packages are to be placed. The base part is fixed to a conveyance device equipped with a door part that opens and closes at a closing position where packages are placed and at an opening position where those packages are dropped. The supporting part is provided to the base part so as to support the placement part movably in a first direction between a first position where the door part is covered and a second position where the door part is exposed. The transfer device is provided to the base part and moves the placement part. The protruding part is provided to the placement surface and extends in a second direction that intersects with the first direction.
