Abstract:
Provided are a conveyor drive device and a workpiece discharging device which eliminate the need for a dedicated conveyor drive source, are inexpensive, enable the service life of an endless revolving body to be increased, enable a workpiece always to be discharged reliably, and which can also be installed on an off-the-shelf press machining device.
In this conveyor drive device, a rack and pinion driving means accommodated in a casing causes a drive shaft of an upper die to rotate in accordance with the raising and lowering thereof. The rack and pinion driving means includes: a vertical rack which is caused to reciprocate vertically by means of a pushing-down force of the upper die; an output shaft coupled to a drive shaft of an endless conveyor; a pinion which converts the vertical reciprocating movement of the vertical rack into a rotating movement of the output shaft; and a one-way clutch which causes the pinion to rotate in only one direction.
