Abstract:
A convolution operation implementation method, wherein a sliding stride s in a convolution operation is greater than 1. The method comprises: respectively cyclically performing a sub-matrix extraction step on an input data matrix and convolution kernel matrix to generate a plurality of pairs of data sub-matrixes and convolution kernel sub-matrixes (S110), wherein the sub-matrix extraction step comprises: for positions, in the matrixes, on which no element extraction is performed, moving, starting from a first position, to the positions according to a sliding stride s to extract elements to form a sub-matrix; respectively performing a convolution operation with a sliding stride of 1 on the pairs of data sub-matrixes and convolution kernel sub-matrixes and then summing the obtained matrixes (S120); or respectively forming the data sub-matrixes and the convolution kernel sub-matrixes into a data recombinant matrix and a convolution kernel recombinant matrix, and performing a convolution operation with a sliding stride of 1 on the data recombinant matrix and the convolution kernel recombinant matrix. The convolution operation is transformed into a convolution operation with a stride of 1, so that an acceleration algorithm can be used to perform an acceleration operation.
