FIG. 2 illustrates a screen shots depicting the process of supplying instructions to the cooking device through the mobile application installed in the communication device according to the present invention.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The present invention is related to a cooking processing unit for commanding the various cooking process to perform end-to-end operations and management of devices. The cooking processing unit is the brain of the cooking device and comprises plurality of electronic components, processors, Wi-Fi module, ICs and a memory to operate the system. Cooking processing unit is run by a special operating system unlike other firmware driven devices. It updates the operating system when connected to Wi-Fi.

Referring to the drawings, FIG. 1 illustrates a flowchart (100) depicting the step-by-step process of installing the application in user’s communication device to use the cooking processing unit to command various cooking devices according to the present invention. A cooking processing unit is developed to command various cooking devices. To operate the cooking devices a mobile application is developed and installed in the user’s communication device and by creating an account (102.2), user can access the cooking device and send commands for cooking.

After installing the mobile application, a sign in page (102) is displayed from where user can create an account (102.2). If user already created an account (102.2) he/she can directly sign in (102.1) to the account and can operate the cooking devices. If user is not a registered account holder then user need to create an account (104.3) by providing name (104.4), E-mail (104.5), mobile number (104.6) and password (104.7). Password (104.7) is sent to the registered mobile number (104.6) for authorization check. After creating the account (104.2) successfully, the user can sign in (106.1) into his/her account (106.2) by inputting registered mobile number (106.6) and password (106.7).

While logging into the account (106.2), if user forgets his password then by clicking on forgot password tab (106.12). After clicking, a page is opened (112) where user need to enter registered mobile number or email address (112.6). A 4-digit code (OTP) (110.11) is then sent to the user mobile number (112.6), after entering the OTP (110.11) user is displayed with a page (108) where user can operate the cooking devices by supplying commands. In the mobile application a plurality of cooking devices (108.8) are registered in the processing unit, based on the preferences, users can flip the settings (108.8). By flipping the settings (108.8) user can select a particular cooking device and can make rice, flat breads, curries, snacks, biryanis and the like.

In one embodiment, if user selects the rice hot cooking device (108.8) then on the same page (108) a cooking settings tab (108.9) is provided where user can input the required preferences that are required for cooking rice. For example, for cooking rice user can input the preferences such as wash, soak, required quantity of rice and water and based on number of persons or based on equivalent calories they wish to take. After inputting the preferences user need to click on the proceed button (108.10) then the device starts to prepare the food.

FIG. 2a to 2e illustrates a screen shots (200) depicting the process of supplying instructions to the cooking device through the mobile application installed in the communication device according to the present invention. As shown in Fig. 1, after successful installation and creating an account user can command several cooking instructions to various cooking devices through his/her communication device. To supply commands through the cooking processing unit initially a plurality of cooking devices are registered in the processor for making rice, curries, snacks, biryani and the like (200a).

To send commands user need to install a client application in his/her communication device to access plurality of cooking devices embedded with the said cooking processing unit. After installing user need to create an account that can be accessed only through the secure login ID and password as shown in Fig. 1. After creating login credentials user can connect remotely to the cooking device with use of the user’s communication device connected to an electronic controller of the device.

After logging in to the application user can select the type of cooking device based on the requirement as shown in Fig. 1. Then initiate the cooking device embedded with the cooking processing unit from which user can access the recipes saved or available in the cooking device (200c). After selecting the recipe user need to supply cooking commands such as selecting the list of ingredients and the quantity of ingredients to the cooking device to prepare required curry, snacks, rice and the like.

In one embodiment, user can input preferences to make desired quantity of rice, curries, snacks, biryanis and the like based on number of persons or based on equivalent calories they wish to take and the electronic controlling device of the cooking device is capable of reading the preference from the user from a pre-set listing, quantities, cooking times and conditions (200d), also determines a quantity in the storage using a plurality of level and/or weight sensors. In other embodiment, the processing unit comprises a memory where user can store a plurality of recipes information (200c), by inputting the required ingredients and cooking information (200d) the cooking device prepares the desired food. If user prefers to prepare a new dish other than the stored recipes a QR code scanner is available where user can scan the recipe ID’s (200e) to prepare new dishes through the installed application of the users communication device.

In other embodiment, the cooking processing unit can supply various commands to process many types of cooking process such as rice, roti, curries, idlys, dosas, omelets, pancakes, and other snacks, etc.

In another embodiment, the cooking processing unit is a brain of the cooking device and inputs various commands to the cooking devices and these cooking devices acts as slaves under this cooking processing unit.

In other embodiment, it provides real-time information regarding power failures and cooking status, etc to the users in remote location.
