Abstract:
This coolant monitoring system for monitoring a flow rate of coolant for each nozzle comprises: a turret device having formed therein a coolant flow passage for supplying the coolant to the nozzles, which are provided for each of a plurality of tools attached to a tool post in order to spray the coolant onto the tools; a flow rate sensor provided in a coolant supply flow passage for supplying the coolant in a coolant tank to the coolant flow passage by means of a coolant pump; a relay device for transmitting a measured value measured by the flow rate sensor; and a control device for comparing the measured value transmitted from the relay device and a threshold for a corresponding nozzle, among thresholds set for each of the plurality of nozzles, to perform a determination relating to the coolant flow rate.
