Abstract:
This refrigerant leak detecting system comprises a refrigeration cycle device including a refrigerant circuit through which a refrigerant circulates, by connecting a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve and an evaporator using refrigerant piping, and a leak detecting device for determining a leak of the refrigerant in the refrigeration cycle device, wherein the leak detecting device comprises: a computing unit for computing a degree of supercooling of the condenser on the basis of a condenser outlet temperature, which is a temperature on a refrigerant outlet side of the condenser, during a refrigerant leak detection operation that causes a condensation temperature of the condenser to increase, and the condensation temperature of the condenser; and a refrigerant leak determining unit for determining a leak of the refrigerant in the refrigeration cycle device on the basis of the degree of supercooling and a predetermined initial degree of supercooling.
